Organization

Your organization holds your workspaces, your people and your plan. Every person has one: signing up creates it with the first workspace. Only owners and admins change the organization's settings.

Find the organization's settings

Open Settings from the account menu (your workspace's name in the top bar). What the settings sidebar shows depends on how many workspaces you have:

  • Several workspaces: the sidebar has a block with the workspace's name for its own settings and, for owners and admins, a block with the organization's name: General, Members, Clients (or Brands or Workspaces), API access, Plan & billing, Usage and Spending. The account menu also has Organization settings.
  • One workspace: one list with no headings. Members manages the organization's people and seats, API holds every API key and agent, and Plan & billing, Usage and Spending sit under Billing. Who Pluto is for, whether members can connect agents, AI improvement and deleting the organization are on General.

General

The organization's General page has:

  • Name and URL name (lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens).
  • Audience: Pluto is for My brand, Several brands or Clients (agency). It's the answer to "Who is Pluto for?" from when you started, and it only changes words and suggestions: an agency adds clients, several brands add brands, and one brand simply has a workspace. Plans count clients or brands the same way. Your organization works the same whatever you choose.
  • Agents: Members can connect agents. Owners and admins always can. Turning it off disconnects members' agents. See Agents.
  • Privacy: Help improve Pluto's AI shares usage data to improve AI features. It's off until an owner or admin turns it on, and it's never used to train models.
  • Delete organization, for owners.

With one workspace, these are on General in Settings, under the workspace's name and logo, where Organization leads to the organization's name and URL name.

Delete an organization

Only an owner can delete the organization, signed in to Pluto Ads. On the organization's General page (with one workspace, General in Settings), choose Delete organization, then type its name to confirm.

When you delete an organization:

  • Every workspace in it is scheduled for deletion, with its data and media, 30 days from now.
  • Ads already live in Meta keep running. Nothing is deleted in Meta.
  • Your subscription is cancelled at the end of the current billing period. Nothing is charged after that.
  • Loops pause, and stay paused if you restore it.
  • API keys, agents and the connections to Meta, Slack and Pluto Profit stop working, and guests are removed. Restoring doesn't bring these back.
  • Members lose access. Their personal Pluto Ads accounts stay, with their other organizations.
  • Owners get an email now and 3 days before the date, with a link to restore it.

Export what you want to keep first: each workspace's menu on the organization's Clients (or Brands or Workspaces) page has Export client... (or brand, or workspace). See Workspaces.

Restore it

Until the date, an owner can restore the organization from the link in the email, or by signing in to Pluto Ads and choosing Restore organization. Workspaces come back as they were: an archived one comes back archived. Workspaces that were deleted on their own before keep their own date. Loops stay paused until someone turns them back on; create new API keys, invite guests again and reconnect Meta, Slack and Pluto Profit. Subscribe again in Plan & billing if the billing period ended.

Members who aren't owners see when it will be deleted and can ask an owner to restore it. Need help? Choose Contact support on that page.

After the date, the organization, its workspaces, their data and media are deleted for good.

Deleting or restoring an organization is only possible for an owner signed in to the app. No API key or agent can.
